| Name: Kurt Age: 70 Years in KT: 53 Kurt was born in Yew, although after the sudden death of his parents he spent most of his youth in Britain doing odd jobs and playing his lute to audiences to raise enough coin to feed himself and his younger brother Dismas. At the age of sixteen he was working at an inn when he spotted an older gentleman in fine robes posting a recruitment notice to the public board. He approached the noble and asked what the message was about. The man introduced himself as Prince Orlando, the Grand Master of an organisation of knights, and invited young Kurt to come and train with him, and perhaps entertain the men with his music and stories. Eagerly Kurt followed and began his training to become a Knight Templar. He has since progressed through the guild for almost all of his life, and served as both seneschal and guild chaplain, until he retired to work as a scholar in Trinsic. Disillusioned with his retirement, Kurt has now returned to Beaufort to serve once again. His other occupations have involved the running of Britannia's first restaurant, 'The Green Gargoyle' and has acted as landlord of several taverns. He is widely recognised for his pure white sash bearing the runes 'Master of the Word', an accolade awarded to but a handful of citizens in quests set by the now-deceased Trammel Dragons. He has been married once, though after a terrible run-in with the Shadowlords, in which his infant child was kidnapped, Kurt was thought dead and his wife Maelyn left Britannia forever. |

| Name: Zingarath Race: Human Age: middle 50s As long as Zingarath never spoke about his past, here is what you don't know and perhaps won't ever know : Alphonse Desrochers was a wealthy merchant who married to Lady Hermine De Castille and gave her two daughters. He decided to abandon his job to rule over the lands of his wife, but was soon ruled by alcohol. Quickly in debt and suffering the bad fame of her husband, Lady Hermine sailed with her daughters -- one of 8, one of 3 -- and all her remaining properties to Skara Brae. Taken in charge by family, she was dwelling on her broken love and life and slowly but inevitably sank into illness. As soon as Alphonse understood her wife were leaving her homeland, he began to hide and spy his own family. Registered on the same boat as Zingarath, he followed his wife and daughters from shadows. Lurking in the dark alleys of Skara Brae, he had to steal for food while his spy game occupied him away from alcohol. He appeared sometimes to his elder daughter who had to work for the others, asking for news. When Lady Hermine died, the elder daughter refused to see him again. Zingarath went from town to town, but as the alcohol from towns were destroying his unsettled mind, he began to wander in the wild. Years going by, visiting Virtue Shrines and learning their significations, Zingarath definitely broke his past of thief and decided to use the skills he developed in the wild to help the others. Healing endangered adventurers helped to endure his remorse. He lost his smile but found calm. Not long ago he met the guild of Shadow Hunters near Trinsic. There he found a friend and they used to turn the guild toward the idea of "hunting from the shadows". They fought Jhaeldrin's dark elves side to Trinsicians, but as the Duchy absorbed the Shadow Hunters, Zingarath and his friend left the city. They split up and Zingarath returned to the forest. He took his brown robe and his bandages and travelled anywhere he can. His pain came back. He visited Felucca and its strange inhabitants. Respected by so-called murderer and humiliated by would-be nobles, Zingarath decided to go back to Trammel. A coincidence made him meet his old friend who joined Knight Templars. Having a structure above him would help him to focus on the Virtues. So he embraced the Masonic Oath and gave his arm to his brethren. However he kept his habits of wandering around Britannia and considers himself as an eternal auxiliary. Not wanting to be tempted by the pride to have a higher rank, he prefers to stay a handful support when needed. He didn't forget his daughters and even if he tries not to trouble them, the daredevil character of the youngest reached his ears and worries him, remembering his own past. |

| Name: Achenar Race: Human Birthplace: Trinsic Age: 26 Appearance: Achenar is about 187 cm long, has pale blonde coloured long hair which is tied in a ponytail and he has bluish – grayish eyes and no visible scars in his face. Achenar was born in Trinsic and lived there all his life before joining the Order. He met an “old” Templar. He could see even only from his appearance, how he spoke that this man is something Achenar has never seen before or heard. Achenar asked him who he was and what he does which lead questions to the Order, the Knight Templar he was part of, and of course the Virtues. After meeting this wise Templar, days, weeks passed as call of his heart grew inside of him and one day he wrote a letter to Lord Taggart of the Grand Master of the Knights Templar. Who then interviewed Achenar and accepted him as recruit of the Order. His friends, his family that he still had, didn’t take Achenar’s actions too lightly but there wasn’t anything that could change his mind. Many questioned him the reason why. He, himself did not know for sure why he chose to follow path of the Virtues but he knew it was the right one for him. Time went by and he grew ranks slowly within the Order and in some point he started to realize what does this all mean to him and he could see things good and bad, that he wouldn’t even thought before. But that only made him stronger in his beliefs and that he would one day become a Knight Templar. And that he accomplished. Now there is something else he will try to make real and for it is heart’s calling too, Achenar is sure he will get to somewhere if he was even able to become a Knight Templar. |

Name:
Falcon
Years in KT: 30 Not exactly the obvious path for a Yew-man, Falcon chose to travel the lands instead of joining the local militia along with his friends. Falcon's travels lead him to many places, geographically as well as in mind, he went from miner and lumberjack in Felluca, to hunter and deck hand on a merchant vessel between Moonglow and Vesper. The travels lasted many years, and one day the young man was struck with a strong urge to see his family yet again. but it was too late, charred remains of what had once been his home was all that was left, some blaimed orcs, or undead, but it did not matter to the young man. Having not been able to defend his family, he blaimed the Militia of Yew for the deaths of his family and swore revenge. For many months he roamed the northern parts of Britannia, blinded by rage and sorrow, at times nurturing himself by hunting, and other times as a highwayman. One day he chose the wrong prey though, as the lonely man walking through woods was no other than Lord Philkaos, a Knight Templar, in civilian clothes, but still more than a match for any robber. The fight was short, and soon the templar held the robber's life in his hands, but instead of ending the miserable life of the criminal, Lord Philkaos sheathed his sword and sat on a rock. The Templar sought the reason for a young man to waste his life in the woods, bringing nothing but misery to himself and others, and found that the man had let himself deceive by his own pride, a mistake that had cost him his honour. The neglect of one virtue leads to another, yet the young man had not lost compassion, honesty or valor, which let Lord Philkaos to offer the young man a chance. The task was simple; the young man was to make peace with himself and forgive those who had wronged him, and when he was ready, he should travel to Britain and seek out the regional Knight Templar keep. The young man went to Yew once again and surrendered himself to the militia, offering honest work as a way of repair the damages he had done to others in anger. After a few years in the service of the militia, Falcon set out again, this time with his honour intact, he went to Britain where he applied to join The Knights Templar. The rest is history, The Knights Templar taught the young man the way of the paladin, and how to reach a life as one with the virtues. Today Lord Falcon is still a travelling man, but in between his long voyages, he drops by Beaufort from time to time, and is always ready to help and direct his younger brethren, just as he himself had been by an older brother. |
